Required qualifications
Applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent from a university in the field of Natural Sciences before starting the PhD program in Cancer Biology. Applicants accepted for the program will have to register with either the University of Zurich or the ETH Zurich, depending on the affiliation of their future research group.

Interviews
Online applications are evaluated by the admission's committee of the Cancer Biology PhD program. The selected candidates will then be invited to Zurich for an interview. Around the interviews, the candidates have the opportunity to visit the labs of the group leaders of their choice. Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the PhD program. The accepted candidates should start working within six months of acceptance to the program.
