Application for Principal Investigators

Thank you for your interest in the Cancer Biology PhD program.

Group leaders who wish to become members of the CB faculty apply in writing to the program's steering committee. Applicants submit to the coordinator of the program a pdf including a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a statement of research interests and a cover letter detailing why they wish to join the program.

Applicants are accepted to the program if they fulfill the following criteria:

1. Member of the faculty or principal investigator at UZH or ETH Zurich.
2. You have at least one current, cancer-related and competitive grant (SNSF, EC, ERC, DFG, NIH, Oncosuisse) as main applicant.
3. Willingness to participate in the teaching of PhD students and/or in the self-administration of the program.

Duties of CB faculty members:

CB program faculty members agree to participate, on a rotating basis, in the running and self-administration of the program.

Applications should be sent to the Cancer Biology PhD program coordinator, including a motivation letter, CV and publication list.
